Clashing was the order of the season, with an array of textures and colours teaming up to create the perfect pick-me up collections, throughout London, Milan, New York AND Paris Fashion Weeks.

LONDON

London saw the ultimate garment texture clash; colourful furs, classic British grunge, and a mix of tailored cuts and active wear.

Ashley Williams – Along with the texture clash also came colour and print clashes too. Brightly coloured plaid skirts teamed with the casual ora of bomber and cropped puffer jackets.

MILAN

A clash of Italian tailoring, dramatic furs, distressed denim and hybrid sports looks.

Prada revealed the ultimate outfit clash. Tailored long coats paneled with fur armoured a traditional wool jumper, oddly paired with a draping red silk skirt and brown pelted thigh high boots.

Moschino for Milan. Models paraded the catwalk pinned in what seemed to mimic a shower curtain, plastic skirt like garment studded with metal rings filled the bottom half of the body whilst the top half full of pink delicately placed petals. Alongside this, another pop of dramatic fur draped under the arm of the model.

NEWYORK

Showcasing a fusion of casual luxe and dramatic winter coats.

Proenza Schouler made subtle clashes throughout this collection, tailoring, fur, plaid, gingham and metallic foils perfectly matched together.

PARIS

A large mix of textures, ballooned silhouettes and sleek leather garments took over Paris Fashion Week.

Mui Mui layered up the unimaginable, sequins with Perspex and topped with fur. But it created the most amazing combination. Colours more monochromatic in this collection.

Balmain wowed the catwalk with this fiery, sexy collection. The combination of leathers, suedes, mesh, sheers, animal skins and even simple jersey, created the ultimate fierce feminist glam. A very powerful clash of textures.
